Looking for an easy way to manage daily student writing activities? Whether your students use paper-based or electronic journals, they can work at their own pace through our sequential exercises.
Separate writing activities are available for:
Each activity includes two parts. The first is a sentence for students to correct and edit. The sentence may include errors in punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Students can submit their corrected sentences to us, and students with correct solutions will be added to the Hall of Fame on this page. There are several possible correct answers for some of the sentences.
The second part includes a writing prompt. Prompts may call for a variety of writing formats, including:
Students can submit their responses, and we may choose to post them here as examples. Your students can analyze those examples and compare them to their own writing to consider strengths and areas for improvement.
