Offer detailed reasons to show the benefits of wandering.
From Alyssa, Bountiful, Utah:
Wandering is a benefit, more than going directly to your destination. (Let's say you and your friends are going to Louisiana, where you live is in Montana. You have three ways you could go. Two of the three ways are boring, the two ways are Waiting on a plane for hours or sitting in the car for longer, without stopping. The third way is the best and the most fun you & your friends could have on the way to Louisiana. That fun way is the path to fun also called, WANDERING. Close your eyes and imagine yourself on a plane for hours even waiting for the plane is horrible, then imagine yourself in the car, you wait and wait till you stop at a gas station either for food or to get some fuel. Then you could imagine yourself in a car with your friends fun right, on your way to Louisiana you can stop in Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas & Texas in those places you can stop at stores or hike and stuff like that. Then you are at the your destination. Or if you prefer going there faster with no excitement then take a plane or car without stopping you still can play games on you electronic all day that's fine by me but don't blame me if you're angry with that all you can do is play games without wifi or watch movies. At least you have something to do. So agree with me or agree to disagree.
From Troy, Bogalusa, LA:
Sure when you're heading some place be it by car, bus, plane, ship, bike, or even foot you could head straight there and get there sure enough a lot quicker. But come on life is too short to shoot dead on through it. Explore, wander, get to know the home we all call Earth. When you take your time a take a small detour no matter where or when, you'll more than definitely find something new or something you never noticed before. And with that said life seems to become clearer. You'll more than likely find something that appeals to you and you'll find some what of a beauty for it, ultimately ending in a new found respect for that certain thing. So go ahead go off that trail, ride down that route, ship down that unfamiliar span of ocean. Live and love your live. You only live once.
From Eli, Chili, Wisconsin:
Wandering can be amazingly good for your system of life. Wandering gives you the opportunity to explore goals and your future. As you yearn to discover you find other new more intelligent things that set your new goals. Going to places not intended to be gone to gives an edgy structure to our future. As following your regular daily routine you get carried away and find that the capacity for knowledge is not there. In other words there is no capacity to wandering which leads to goodness.
From Lamb, Berwick, Maine:
There are many good things about wandering. When you wander, you can see new things and experience things you have never done. Wandering can apply in more than a psychical way. If you wander while trying to reach goal in life, you will have many new experiences and can stray out of your comfort zone. Wandering lets you experience and see new things.
From Megan, North Berwick, Maine:
Many good things come from wandering instead of travelling directly to your destination. One of these many things would be, finding out new things. If you want to find stuff out about new things you may want to wander around. For example, if your destination was Nicholasville, Kentucky, and you were traveling from Los Angeles, California, you may wander off course to see the Yellowstone National Park. Most likely not but it's possible. While there you can learn many things.
From Emery, Lebanon, Maine:
When you wander there can be good things that happen. You can see more of the area around the area where you want to go. If you wander around to get to your destination instead of going to there immediately is better. If you wander you can find things you never knew you would find. Also, you could meet people and make new friend. If you go to your destination immediately you will learn nothing and not find the fun adventures.
From Jackson, Barlow, KY:
While going directly where you intend to go is faster, it is also boring. So whenever you wander and take your time to get from point A to point B you can have many adventures. You may meet new friends or make enemies, you may find hidden treasures, or you may just have a good time seeing new things. So overall I think taking the path less traveled and wandering around is better due to the experiences you can have because life isn't about the things you get but it's about the things you do.
