Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins- Student Page
The third book in The Hunger Games trilogy features Katniss as a reluctant symbol of the rebellion against President Snow. Mind games have turned Peeta against her, and life in District Thirteen is not as free as she would like it to be. Katniss must decide, once and for all, who she loves most, and what she will stand for.
Kate, 4th grade, from Portland Michigan says:
The book Mockingjay is most likely the best book out of the series because of the excitement and characters. My favorite character is Prim because of how brave and willing she is, but I also would say Katniss is my favorite because she is the main character and the symbol of the rebellions. And she is very brave too.
I really like how the author makes you feel during all the sad parts because she makes you feel sad too. She does very well with making you feel emotions when you read the book. She never really lets you down and when I read the book I felt like i was there. She makes you feel like you are the characters and everything that is happening to them in the book is happening to you.
The book Mockingjay is very violent and would be perfect for anyone who loves hunting and shooting and guns. If you are trying to find a romance book this would also be a wonderful book to read. If you like romance and hunting you would absolutely love this book.
