New Resources for Teachers
Here are the new resources we've added to the site within the last few weeks:
There is a lot of information on this site, and I am so happy to welcome visitors to it! I am teaching full time in a new school, and the site has generated more and more traffic, so I am unable to manage all the components the way I could when the site was smaller and I didn't have so many other demands.
If you are a teacher with lots of students using the math problems, please feel free to contact me and I will let you know general trends I see with your class. Updates will generally happen once or twice a week (it may be rarer during report card/conference season).
I am still adding book quiz results to the overall hall of fame, but those results are now sent to me by quiz instead of by date, which means they will not be updated in the order that they were received, and I have a lot of catching up to do. I am planning to switch the book quizzes to a self-checking format, but that will take some time. I have lots of new books and quizzes and discussion questions I would love to add, but that also takes a long time.
Unfortunately, spambots have been taking over the student page postcards about books, so I will be removing most of the student pages in the near future, to avoid the time it takes to deal with all those emails.
I am no longer able to add writing prompt samples or sentence editing hall of fame names to those pages, but please feel free to use them in your class.
As always, the site content is free to use for educational purposes, and you are asked to include the name of the website on any printed or digital material from the site.
Thank you so much for your kind messages over the years. I hope the site continues to evolve and prove helpful to teachers and students. --Jamie
